Charlene Su is a singer-songwriter and host whose tunes are a lush, romantic hybrid of R&B, lo-fi and modern pop, executed with jazz sensitivities. Her lyricism often centers around the topics of womanhood, femininity, escapism, self-discovery, self-love and romantic love in all its positive and negative forms.
Charlene has been in the public eye since she was runner-up in Mediacorp’s reality singing programme “The Final One Season 2” in 2015. Her evocative, dulcet vocals and distinctive stage-presence captured audiences and allowed her to build a steady social media following over time. “home with you”, her debut single, was finally released on all digital streaming platforms on April 12th, 2019. Garnering close to 90,000 plays in just 5 months, “home with you” was featured on Spotify’s playlists, New Music Friday Singapore and Singapore’s Top Acts. A second release is due for October 2019.
